This a rake back aluminium stair nosing with a ramp back edge,comprising of an aluminium channel with factory bonded 50mm insert material in same colour for both the tread and riser, providing a single solid band of colour visible when ascending and descending the stairs. The stair nosing which slops backwards at 83 degree angle  is designed to meet the guidance in Approved Document M (The Building Regulations 2010) and BS 8300-2:2018 to help achieve an inclusive environment in line with the Equality Act 2010.This rake back DDA compliant stair nosing can be fitted retrospectively to existing stairs virtually on any stair material for upgrading or renovating existing steps with lino, vinyl, laminate flooring ,lightweight carpets and carpet tiles, stone or where no floor covering is installed.
